The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) promotes the use of telecommunications to improve K-12 learning. Members represent state and local education agencies, nonprofits, companies and individuals who share our vision.

ISTE is the national organization of which ITEC is a state affiliate. ISTE is well known for valuable educational resources such as the NETS -National Educational Technology Standards project and documents. Their NECC conference, held in late June is one of the largest educational technology conferences available for teachers, administrators, and higher education.

This site offers information on the impact technology has in education, research reviews, and results of surveys about technology use. Visit it often for relevant and up-to-date information.

This sites provides access to the many components of the NETS project. The NETS project is a multi-agency effort "to develop national standards for educaitonal users of technology that facilitate school improvement."

SIGTC is ISTE's Special Interest Group for Technology Coordinators. Designed specifically to support technology coordinators, you can connect to a listserv, an online journal, a support forum, or find information on technology planning or grants.
