ITEC (Iowa Technology and Education Connection) promotes the use of technology in education by demonstrating to its members, other educators, and the public, developments in educational technology and how its appropriate use supports teaching and learning.
ITEC Board Applications are Open!
ITEC is looking for passionate educators from within the state to consider applying for the ITEC Board of Directors. Four ITEC Board positions will be up for election for the December 2024 vote.
Roles and responsibilities of ITEC Board members include:
- Helping plan, coordinate and promote the annual conferences
- Helping plan and coordinate professional learning events (webinars & asynchronous content)
- Connecting and collaborating with Iowa educators
- Bringing innovative ideas
- Time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours a month (may increase around events)
